William Moses Summerville was born and reared in Champaign/Urbana, IL, as the youngest of three children to the 48 year union of the late Deacon Willie T. & Valerian Alexander Summerville. He is married to the former Danielle Nicole Smith, who was born in New Orleans, LA, raised within the military system. Danielle serves as Hospital Nursing Supervisor at one of the medical facilities in South Orange County, California. As a blended family, they share three children: Makeda Gabrielle, Jaxon Divon, and Ezekiel Thomas. Makeda is a graduate in Math Education from New York University, teaching high school algebra. The family's main residence is in Long Beach, California.
